PROFIL KILLING ME INSIDE

Killing Me Inside, atau yang biasa juga disebut killms merupakan sebuah band yang beraliran Modern Rock Alternative / Emo. Band ini berasal dari Jakarta dan dibentuk pertama kali pada Desember 2005. Saat itu killing me inside beranggotakan 5 orang personil, yaitu : Rendy(Drum), Raka(Guitar), Sansan(Vocals), Josaphat(Guitar) dan Onad(Bass).

Semuanya bermula lewat panggung-panggung underground. Dari situ Killing Me Inside berkembang menjadi sebuah band yang memberikan warna baru di scene underground Jakarta. Musik dan fashion, kedua hal tersebut menjadi patokan mereka yang saling memberikan dukungan. Dan bagi mereka pribadi, banyak yang mereka dapatkan dari panggung kecil, tidak hanya soal jam terbang, tetapi juga pendewasaan dari dalam diri.
Namun pada akhir tahun 2008 terjadi perpecahan pada band mereka, dimana Raka (gitaris) mengundurkan diri. Pengunduran diri Raka sat itu dikarenakan Raka juga telah bergabung dengan Vierra, dan karena faktor keluarga, akhirnya Raka memilih bergabung dengan Vierra dan meninggalkan Killing Me Inside.
Kemudian memasuki 2009, setelah beberapa kali manggung dan melakukan tour, Sansan (Vokalis) dan Rendy (Drummer) meninggalkan band dan juga karena beberapa alasan. Sansan sebagai vokalis keluar karena memang pilihannya dia sendiri untuk keluar (sekarang ada di Pee Wee Gaskins) dan Rendy sebagai Drummer mengundurkan diri karena sibuk untuk rencana jangka panjangnya demi masa depan.
Akan tetapi, dengan semangat baru, Onad dan Josaphat berhasil menemukan pengganti personil mereka yang mengundurkan diri. Davi dan Agung kini bergabung bersama Killing Me Inside sebagai personel baru. Davi pada Drum dan Agung pada Bass. Dan akhirnya terbentuklah new formation mereka yang sekarang.

Pada tahun 2009, band ini merilis sebuah album yaitu “A Fresh Start For Something New” yang hitsnya lagunya yaitu “The Tormented” di bawah label Fast Youth Record. Selain itu mereka juga membuat lagu untuk original soundtrack (ost) film layar lebar Air Terjun Pengantin, berjudul Tanpa Dirimu.
